A Great Trade Entry · Video
A square-format animated explainer breaking down a candlestick trade-entry setup step by step — built for a trading/finance content creator's Instagram and Reels feed.
The brief
Trading and finance content creators live or die by how fast an idea lands in a square feed. The brief here was to take one core setup — a rejection-candle trade entry at resistance — and explain it visually in under thirty seconds, with no voiceover needed to follow along.
What's in the sample
A candlestick chart builds in on-beat, resistance is marked, then each label — rejection candle, bears stepping in, trade entry, trade winner — animates in over the exact candle it refers to, so the viewer's eye is never guessing what a callout is pointing at. The square 1080×1080 frame is built for Instagram/Reels and TikTok without cropping.
Why it works
Labelled, sequential callouts turn a chart pattern that normally needs a paragraph of explanation into something a scroller absorbs in a few seconds. The same panel-by-panel animation approach used here — build the base graphic, then reveal callouts in sequence — is the same technique behind the Amazon listing animations in the Motion & Video Ads sample, just applied to a different niche.
